Gardeners
Like your Dad, mine was also a Master Gardener. He also was an amateur photographer. You have done them both much honor by eternally recording the beauty they knew firsthand. It was a lucky moment for me when I followed your link in a comment you left for Usman at BP.

Amazing Talent!
Karen, you were one of the first serious photographers to comment on my own work, for which I will always be truly grateful, and your site continues to inspire one and all.
My personal faves would be 'Silently She Waits', and a floral called 'Dahlia'.
They epitomize your amazing talent.

My memory
Beautiful work, and your right. Pop would be very proud. The garden was always one place you could find him. I've been away for a while, but I will never forget him and the pride he took in his flowers.Joe

Lighting
Hi Karen,
My name is John, and I have recently purchased a macro lens. While some of my images have been good, yours are truly OUTSTANDING and the lighting is just perfect. Are you using any additional lighting other than 'natural' light ?

Hi John, Thanks for the comments!I sometimes use the flash on my camera to get rid of shadows.I also use a macro ring flash.Take care and have a great weekend!
